MOAA 5 Star Harris Communications Award Winner

MOAA National sends their CONGRATULATIONS to President Ed Wozniak and all the members of the Coronado Chapter, MOAA for earning the MOAA 5 Star Col. Marvin J. Harris Communications Award for your Print/E-Newsletter.  MOAA Senior Director, Council and Chapter Affairs Erin Stone said, “We at national MOAA are extremely proud of all our affiliates who were able to keep their members connected and informed through print and electronic media during 2023. The number of nominations submitted for this award has continued to grow each year; this year we received 227 nominations.  As you know, effective communications are critical to recruiting and retention as well as keeping your members connected and engaged.  Thank you and your team for prioritizing superior communications and for taking the time to submit a nomination.”

Voting for the Chapter’s Board of Directors

The Nominating Committee consisting of Doris Caldwell, Gene Manring, Allen Rossow, Ken Symmes, and Tom Hessler as Chair unanimously agreed to submit the slate of officers and directors shown below for the election in November.  All are for two-year terms starting at our January dinner meeting with the exception that the JROTC Director is a one-year term.
